Sales Manager

Terry Tucker

Terry Tucker had a childhood dream to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a firefighter.  Terry began his fire service career in 1982, as a member of the Amory MS Fire Department and the North Monroe County Ambulance Service.   He achieved his EMT license in 1984 and in 1985 he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. In November of that same year, Terry moved to Plaquemine LA to be near family and soon became a member of the Plaquemine Fire Department where he achieved the rank of Assistant Fire Chief. In 1987 he returned to Amory and resumed working part-time with Amory Fire Department as well as volunteering with the Hatley Volunteer Fire Department where he served as Captain and Safety Officer. In 1988 he joined the Wren Volunteer Fire Department, and he was soon promoted to Fire Chief by the board of directors. He served as Monroe County Fire Investigator from 1992 until 2000. In January of 2007, he was hired by the City of Okolona to serve as Fire Chief until his retirement in 2023. While serving as Fire Chief for Okolona Terry also served as the Monroe County Fire Coordinator. In July of 2023, he started his career with Goldy’s Fire Apparatus selling firefighting equipment.  When Southern States Fire purchased the Rosenbauer Dealership from Goldy’s in March of 2025, Terry transitioned into the Sales Manager’s position with Southern States Fire. He continues his lifelong dream of being a firefighter by responding to calls with both Wren Volunteer Fire Department and Okolona Fire Department.
